Step-by-Step Perler Bead Tutorial
- Sort all perler beads by color according to the color chart. Prepare enough beads in advance to avoid interruption.
- Place the pegboard on a flat stable surface. Arrange beads one by one on the pegboard, strictly following the grid pattern. Keep beads upright and avoid tilting.
- Cover the finished bead layout with ironing paper. Set your iron to medium heat, TURN OFF STEAM FUNCTION.
- Iron slowly and evenly until beads melt slightly and stick together.
- Flip the whole pattern carefully, cover with ironing paper again and iron the reverse side for stronger adhesion.
- Leave the pattern to cool completely for at least 5 minutes before removing it from the pegboard.
Important Tips & Warnings
- Do not overiron large light mint-green areas. Excessive heat will cause discoloration and blurring.
- Keep black outline beads neatly aligned to maintain crisp pixel edges.
- This is a large-size pattern. Secure your pegboard during assembly to prevent sliding and misalignment.
- Never move or bend unfinished work before full cooling; beads may separate.
- Adult supervision is recommended if children participate in ironing work.
